Your hand also gets 170g PrimaLoft One insulation at the back of your hand for maximum warmth and 133g in your palm for mobility's sake. And EVA foam covers your knuckles to protect your hand against ice-smashing, rail-bashing activities.
The goat leather palm has an additional patch for a better grip, and Black Diamond stitched it together with Kevlar for increased durability. The cuff slides under your jacket without adding much bulk, and the hook-and-loop closure seals out those nasty snow storms blowing all over the ski resort.
